I didn't watched the fans conf about the game, i'm just watching the final part when the commenters spoke about their feeling:
- They took that like a fan event, not a conference.
- The word about it is "strange": this event didn't answer any question for them, they didn't showed the game and explain for one hour what they consider to be a RPG.
- Bioware spoke about customisation, story, choices and consequences (only during solo dungeons with are less than 10% of the game).
They said the only way Bioware can make this game cool and interesting is the story but they didn't say anything about it and it seem for them that the game isn't shaped yet, the story is not written today because Bioware need feedback for the Alpha.
Today the game have nothing to be apart of the others 4vs1, it's perhaps even under because the hype failed. They spoke about narration and history and just after spoke about the game being a dungeon crawler without any open area, their was no consistency in their speech.
Also they said nothing about the episodic updates, the sentence that rest for the commenters about them is "we hope to be able to [...]" So they didn't said if the update stories will be free or not, they didn't said anything.
The last remark: "We saw nothing beside awful screeners, you know the kind of screeners that are forbidden in event or convention because they don't make the game any justice".
So their advice about the game and the event: not even close to be ready and the event feeled amateur or, your choice, rushed. They're not ready and it was obvious so: wait and see next year, perhaps.
