Still, if we take Mike at his word, it at least means that this DLC may actually be conceived as DLC rather than something awkwardly removed at the last minute regardless of how original game suffers without it, like... every day one DLC since Dragon Age Origins, practically.
It's not the team working on the game itself that choose, or not, to make a day one DLC. It's sad but it's real, it's why i expect to see some day one Dlcs coming from bioware like a companion or quest but also componant for the Fortress and so on.
Of course it'll be content cut from the game, it's just obvious. I don't care because i consider day one DLC like Origin: a good reason to not buy the game (but i can play it if i have time).
Just take a moment and compare ANY bioware Dlc to, for example, the one for Don't Starve, The Reign of Giant (5 bucks and the content is so big i can't make a list here). It's why i don't understand people that buy a new shinny armor for 5 dollars...
Their are some funny things, i watched the preorder numbers and i find interesting that the Sims 4 is blowing everything on it way (almost one million of preordered units only for USA and the game is at 20 weeks from launch). It's already better than Titanfall, the last CoD, almost the level of Watchdog. DAi is nowhere to be found in the 40 first places.
I'm not ipmpressed by DAi. Perhaps if they show the IA, inventory management, in fact the core of the game and stop making fanservice, perhaps i'll look at the game in a different way.
