As far as DA:I the more i read about its shortcomings the more i want to experience for myself even when i know i am sure to regret it. Now i am thinking of it, DA:I gets a free pass from games media because it is not a PC game only and people that mostly play on consoles report less or no problems at all.
For DaI, i would wait a little before buying it but it's just my advice. Too much bugs on PC and since it's a Bioware game, you'll never see any good patche. If i can summarize my experience with the game, it would be "it's like playing Guild Wars alone, without any other player and only with NPC mercenary". It's that, nothing more, nothing less.
It have good parts and even good writing sometime but to enjoy it, you 'll have to forgive a massive grinding about everything for everything. And with a lot of nonsense, you lead a big army without seeing it more than one time in one cutscene, you have a lot of people working for you but it's you that must collect every material to keep the thing running. In each map, you'll always have the same "activities", no matter what, that will give you "power" too unlock new aeras to make the same activities (the Ubisoft syndrome ^^).
Imo, it's a too much long game for its own shake, it force is livespawn over the player with the grinding and i think it's why you'll never see any percentage about people that finish the game. My final point is just to say i never saw any company saying "rush the first act, the second is better" when selling their game...
