Honestly, if I planned on "disrupting" a panel, I wouldn't sit there, patiently and quietly mind you, for 19 damn minutes before I spoke up. I'd light up a few minutes in. And please, please explain to me why you'd want to call the cops on someone probably miles away from the con itself hours after the incident. Please justify that. Please.

Oh, and that whole "infiltration" thing was a parody/snark response taken out of context. Honestly, the whole "we trained for 20 years to infiltrate the nerd culture" should've set alarms off not to take the statement seriously.

I refuse to argue anything with you. Arguing with Gators is like banging your head against a wall - all you'll end up with is a bad headache and a hole in the wall. Nearly everything they believe in is tremendously divorced from any form of reality, making them completely unreachable. Part of the problem is that GG has redefined language - words such as "ethics," "feminism," "censorship," mean "free speech" mean something entirely different to them than they do to those outside their circle-jerk of reactionary paranoia, and as result both sides of a debate only hear gibberish.

I'm less interested in debating with Gators and more interested in why they act the way they do. While Gators will obviously dismiss it out of hand, this video offers a solid explanation of the ideological assumptions underlying GG.

Kynetyk: Robotech is very of its time. It suffers from stitching together three stories, but there's other good stuff to it. It's more mature than most shows from the early 80s. There's a lot of explicit death going on. Apr 9, 2017 15:09:58 GMT -5

Noelemahc: If you ask me, you're better off skipping Robotech and watching its pieces separately, preferrably the first (Super Dimension Fortress Macross, which spawned the decades-long Macross franchise, a trendsetter in Transforming Mecha genre) and the third Apr 15, 2017 13:06:53 GMT -5
