I watched a gamespot vid where the IGN reviewer of the game was asked about the it.
She said several worring things. In first she played in easy because she found the fight shitty (her word, she then tried to catch up saying it was a joke and everything great but when you see the guys faces... it was not a joke).
After, almost at the end, she said the game is buggy, not well coded, she had several crashed, textures missing, frezze during cinematics etc... She also found the dev who was there embarassed with several "oh it's weird" or "it never happened before".
She compared MEA to AC Unity because the two teams had the same reactions during playtest and she finished saying "i prefer to warm the fan, lot of things can happen in one month, the game can be great or a mess". It's a PR vid by bioware (IGN honesty is... well know) and when you see an IGN journalist saying that about an EA game...
Beware...
For the exploration, i expect DaI in space, between 5 to 7 planets perhaps where you can land, the rest will be like ME2. The map will be as DaI but rather than an table you'll have a galaxy map. They will be larger because we have a tank but they show only emptiness for now.
3.26: allying with locals: handshake a humain...
3.40: andromeda viability is like the Inquisition level. Each level will unlock new features and options, it's the same mechanic. I'm not against this but in inquisition it was filler.
3.50: we are the humain pathfinder and we can wake up salarians scientist or krogans merchands... aboard the human nexus... wut ? I just want them to stop contradict themselves, one of the first vid said "each nexus by race, human salarians and asari", and now they show each nexus with a variety (which is better imo) but can they stay on their words ?
to finish, in the last IGN vid (the one about the first 13 minutes of the game), they explain nexus are send in andromeda because "exploration". It's the base of the game, 99% of the milky way remain inexplored but a lot of ressources are send to andromeda because exploration.
Wow, mindblowing writing.
i was writing the post when i found this:
Edit: 0.50: 7 golden worlds, so seven worlds to explore.
1.10: the nexus need helium 3, water, ice and element zero. Water and ice are H²O both (7 years old child's science lesson... writing quality...) After that "our long range scans detected 7 golden worlds": Andromeda is almost 2.5 millions light years so your long scan range detected golden world 2.5 millions years in the past but they didn't changed since. Space magic, not science. Science lessons of today, "when you're watching the sky, you're looking at the ghost of the past".
2.15: quarians colonists ? THIS is interesting...
I am bitter because it's not science but space magic. It begin as an Hard scifi now it's fantasy and magic. I expect a loooot of fanservice to please the base but what i'm seeing now is bad writing quality (perhaps they can pay obsidian to write a game for them), it's a nonsense when a scientist ask you to find ice and water as their have differents components and in the IGN vid (the one about the 13 first minutes) their are a lot of this kind of nonsense, a computer can explode, their are lot of engineer around it but it's the player that is send to repair it and i can continue. They want to distance the game with ME3 but at least, they should have found a better reason, and even if in the game we learn reapers are the real reason, it's stupid because Andromeda will collide with our galaxy. IMO, they should have made the nexus, send them in the dark space, wait in sleep for the reapers to go and come back after, the canon ending would have been "everybody is destroyed" and you have a full galaxy to explore with a full crew ready to fight an ennemy they know.
Andromeda for exploration... 5 years of writing for that. WOW !
I'll wait for a cracked and repacked version of it.
