Before the launch they showed some DA4 teaser, now they're silent and don't want to speak about it.
I think EA isn't really happy, they'll make money of course, with the 5$ early access and microtransactions in multiplayer but the damage to the studios named Bioware is big, it's just a confirmation that ME3 hit them a lot more they admit.
I see two possibilities, a third one is almost unlikely.
The first, EA take action and the Bioware management receive several kicks in their ass to put them in line, in this case perhaps their next game will be good. Perhaps.
The second, EA change nothing and their next games will all have the same management and funding than MEA (cut corner, outsourcing, rushed, cringing dialogue at best and SJW everywhere). Ea will fund them less and less or transfert the IP to other "bioware" studio, created just to take the name.
The third... EA have concern about their reputation and decide to make a hard reboot of the IP, they erase everything (Montreal lead for example) and begin a new story, unlikely... But i think it would be the best option.
Just put yourself at EA's place a moment. Beside ME2, what game Bioware did upgraded EA reputation ? DAI ? Short lived victory but it's better than the rest, beside controversy or flop, they have nothing. They can't even close them because they are caring about their rep, just remember how they were mad at being the worst company. They care about how people think about them, they even announced before the launch it was bioware that decided to not postpone the game, they knew the state of it and its just show they're getting tired of the controversy following them. Their next Ip could be the last bullet of Montreal, if it's a miss... But Edmonton will make the next ME, i'm confident in this, it'll be more action oriented, less RPG and dialogue... Bioware is making action game now, their new IP is a destiny clone, it's cheaper and easier to make BUT the action part was never Bioware best part, it's almost the worst, their IA is always dumb and novelty are boring after a wile or no utility in higher difficulty (as the jetpack in MEA).
I think i'm just tired of them. New studios are emerging (Red Hook, Klei, CDPR, Squad etc) that are more interesting and take care of their customers. As MEA, Bioware is nothing today.
